Volunteers

The team leaders will confirm the volunteers for each day who will a) welcome and check the kids in and give them an apron, b) help the kids prepare the food at each table, c) pass out any materials/recipes and serve as a JLEC representative; d) ensure the ingredients are delivered from the food source to the Boys and Girls Club in advance of the program start, and e) serve as photographers. Programs begin at 4:00pm. Volunteer commitment is expected from 3:30 – 6:30pm and any preparation/pick-up as needed, if possible.


Thanks to all who have volunteered to participate during the Fridays in March (Nutrition Awareness Month). Please contact Robin Shih at rshih@csstars.com to participate (or just show up!). We still need more volunteers and it is SO much fun!

Our goal is to provide ongoing Kids in the Kitchen programming at the Boys and Girls Club beyond Nutrition Awareness Month, so everyone interested is invited to share your thoughts and suggestions on how best to maintain a consistent educational presence to better serve the children.
